Dear 15 Year Old Me..

Hii everyone.

I thought I could do a quick post today, a tag. I haven’t done them at all in this blog, and haven’t really done many for a few years. This one really made me think when I read a few other bloggers posting theirs, so I’m giving it a shot here, I’m ready to get deep for a bit, lol.

The lovely Chanelle tagged me, and I thought it would be fitting to put this here on my life blog. The tag was originally started by Everyday Magic With Jubilee and Mom Life With Chiari. So let’s get started!

  • Post the tag and image above
  • Mention the creators of the tag and link back to their blog
  • Thank whoever nominated you and link back to their blog
  • Nominate 5 other bloggers that you love and notify them by commenting on their latest post

1. Don’t be hard on yourself because…

We are our own worst enemies. You have the tendency to see the worst in yourself and the best in others, when you are equally as amazing. You are more sensitive than you let on, so instead of putting yourself down, lift yourself up. You are strong. Don’t hold everything in, find a way to let things out, and confide in others. Surround yourself with love.

2. The relationship you’re in…

Will be over before you know it. It is not a relationship you want to stay in. Everyone experiences a relationship like this at some point in their lives, and sadly you’re experiencing it much sooner than you should. Use it as an example of what your love life should not be. Even though it does not seem like it, you will grow and learn from this. ❤

3. You will get through this because…

You are strong. Always have been. You feel everything so deeply which feels like a burden but it is also a blessing in disguise. Life doesn’t throw anything at us that we cannot handle. You got this.

4. Don’t get caught up in thinking…

Negatively. Things always seem more grand and unfortunate than they really are. It is in your nature to worry about things too much, but I guarantee that there will come a time in your life where someone will help you see things differently, and you’ll appreciate them for it.

5. These experiences will help you learn…

A lot about yourself. You are constantly growing and learning about yourself, and that journey does not stop as you get older. However, the experiences you are going through right now, will mold you into becoming the person you’re supposed to be, and should be. Don’t let these experiences make you feel hopeless, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Always.

I will not tag anyone, because I know this has been going around for a while and I’m not really sure who has done it or who hasn’t. However, if you have not yet done it, feel free to do this tag, I’d love to see everyone’s answers. 🙂

To end on a positive note:
What is one of your favorite memories from when you were 15?

  1. I forgot I was tagged in this and I have a draft of it. I need to finish it and share! I think Hunida tagged me in it earlier this year. I loved reading your answers; there’s vulnerability and tenderness in them and I always wonder if it would have made a difference if we knew what we know now. These answers are fitting for all walks of life and we have a little more wisdom each time we go through similar situations.

I found Mason when I was 15, so I’m always thankful to have him and I couldn’t imagine loving a dog more than him. I’m legit tearing up at the thought of that, haha. I’m so happy you did this post!

    1. I’d love to read your answers too, I think it gives us a better perspective on how we used to be and how we’ve grown since then 🙂 I think for most of us that was basically 10 years ago, so it’s like taking a trip down memory lane 🙂
That is sooo cuteee!!! 😀 dogs are the best 🙂

      1. Oh yes, it’s so funny to see how much our perspectives have changed. I’m too nostalgic for my own good sometimes, but I’ll definitely have to finish my post to share! Mason’s definitely the favorite in the family now!

  2. Oh Rossy I am so happy you took part in this, I adored reading your answers and I am so proud of you! love the question you asked too, mine would probably have to be having fun with my friends at school – honestly, my whole teenage years seem to blur into one sooo, we’re just going to have to go with the carefree days of having fun at school with my friends hehe, and of course, my nieces being born and growing up with them when I was just a teenager, I am so blessed to have those memories. Thank you doll for making me think ❤
