July 2020 Beach Shells Bullet Journal

Happy July!

I am noticing that I care less and less that these posts are not on time. And that’s a good feeling. Freeing, even lol. I also noticed my bujo has gotten extraordinarily shorter this year because I am not bothering to write down daily tasks.

Perhaps when things to back to “normal”, I will bring back weekly spreads but right now there is no need for them. I am also aware that I don’t always have a brain dump page and that usually depends on whether I used the previous month spread in full.

Anyway, here we are, yet another month down in 2020. My father’s birthday is at the end of this month and I have to plan something small for it. I also kind of plan on de-cluttering my home, room for room, and donating things that I no longer need or use. I really want to downsize.

Okay, I wanted to point out that I had this seashell idea since June, but I didn’t feel as creative so I took to Pinterest and got some inspo/recreated from the following posts:

  • Quote Page, here.
  • July Cover Page, here.
  • Calendar Spread, here.
  • Mood Tracker, here.

Again, a very short month. Sorry I’m a bit rambly, let’s move on.

July 2020 Bujo

Alright, that is it! I’m not sure how I feel about it, but I feel like this one is much more consistent throughout than all my previous ones. I also liked that I only picked a few colors and stuck to them. Looks very crisp and clean which is what I’ve been going for lately. Minimalist!

Some questions for you today:

  1. Do you like the beach?
  2. How far away is your nearest beach?
  3. Seashells or sea stars?

Have an amazing weekend and happy 4th to my American friends & followers! ❤

    1. Thank you so much!! 😀
And last year I feel like I went with vibes from each month, like I chose summery themes for the summer, and HP for October etc. because I felt like they fit for that time?
This year though was a bit different. I feel like I’ve been chosing themes that are in a way inspired by what I’m doing or will be doing in that month. For example, I chose a cactus theme in March because I was going to Vegas, and even though they don’t have cacti over there, it reminded me of a desert? As for June, I watched Princess Jellyfish so that was inspo for that month. This month was more of us wanting to go to the beach but we couldn’t make that happen unfortunately LOL

  1. The seashell for the mood tracker is perfect, I absolutely love this theme even though I’m not a fan of the beach! I don’t know what normal is going to look like but I’ve neglected my normal planner the past few months and I just cross off the days and track my cycle mainly.

I don’t even know how far the beach is from me right now, but it’s hours away, maybe 10 at least? I’m not completely sure. I’ve never found a sea star and I wonder how people find those and sand dollars left and right in their pictures! If I do go to the beach, I enjoy finding shells and stuff I will say.

    1. Thank you! The mood tracker is definitely my favorite page this month 😀
True, you live in TN, right?? Shells and sea stars vary in their locations. We don’t see them too often here on the coast either, we most find the smaller shells left by the tiny crabs. As for stars, they might be on the tide pools but there are only so many here.

      1. Yeah, I live in TN but I’ve only been to beaches in Virginia and South Carolina! I’m probably just unlucky and haven’t found any. I’m not a huge beach person so I don’t go often enough to be worthy of finding shells, haha.
